Chicken Pakora recipe

Chicken pakora is a super delicious dish it is very simple and easy to make boneless chicken pieces are totally coated with besan and fried till golden brown. Chicken pakora is very Crispy and crunchy it will be a hit with adults and kids alike. Serve it hot with green chutney with a cup of tea on the side you can use tomato ketchup also.

Ingredients


Ingredients for chicken


  • 300 grams boneless chicken  cubes shape
  • ½ teaspoon ginger and garlic paste
  • ½ teaspoon coriander powder
  • ¼ teaspoon red chili flake
  • ¼ teaspoon red chili powder
  • ¼ teaspoon turmeric
  • Salt to taste

For the chickpea batter


  • 1 cup gram flour  besan
  • ½ teaspoon coriander powder
  • ¼ teaspoon red chili powder
  • ¼ teaspoon crushed coriander seeds
  • ¼ tsp pomegranate seeds  anaardaana  its optional 
  • Oil for frying
  • Chaat masala  required for garnish
Instructions

For the chicken:


  1. take boneless chicken in bowl add ingredients mentioned in chicken part and mix well through and keep in fridge for 30 minutes.

For the gram flour or besan batter:


  1. Place gram flour or besan in  bowl and then add salt, coriander powder, red chili powder, crushed coriander seeds, pomegranate seeds and salt then Stir the mixture dry or fork. Add some water tablespoons at the time while whisking till a smooth batter is created. Its should be thick enough to coat all chicken pieces. If adjustment is required then add more gram flour or besan or water accordingly.

  2. Heat the oil on low to medium flame.

  3. Dip your boneless chicken pieces one by one in the gram flour or besan batter, shaking off excess well and then add it in the hot oil add the rest of the pieces and fry it till golden brown all pieces on both sides make sure the chicken is cooked through from inside  then you can cut open a pakora to double check.
  4. Garnish it with chaat masala.
  5.  Serve with green chutney you can use tomato sauce also depend on your taste.
