Lemon Chicken Skillet | Lemon Chicken

 

Hi Friends how is going your day, today I am going to sharing a delicious Lemon Chicken Skillet recipe with you. Lemon Chicken Skillet is my favorite dish. Basically This is one pan chicken dinner dish, its very easy to make. You can just half an hour have a complete meal on the table. This dish doesn't require any loads of dishes afterwards because its  quick cooking.

Ingredients


  • 12 ounces red potatoes
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil,  divided
  • 4 skinless, boneless chicken breast halves,  3/4-inch thickness
  • 3/4 teaspoon kosher salt, divided
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper freshly ground , divided
  • 2 thyme sprigs
  • 4 ounces cremini mushrooms, quartered
  • 1 tablespoon chopped fresh thyme
  • 1/4 cup whole milk
  • 5 teaspoons flour   all purpose
  • 1 3/4 cups unsalted chicken stock 
  • 8 very thin lemon  slices
  • 1 package trimmed haricots verts (French green beans)  8 ounce
  • 2 tablespoons fresh flat leaf parsley  chopped 

Instructions


Lemon Chicken Skillet


  1. Preheat your oven to 450°.
  2. Place potatoes in medium saucepan cover it with water and bring to a boil then simmer it for 12 minutes or until the tender Drain.
  3. Heat large ovenproof and skillet over medium to high heat.
  4. Add 1 teaspoon oil in pan and sprinkle chicken with 1/4 teaspoon salt and then add 1/4 teaspoon pepper. 
  5. Add thyme sprigs  and chicken to pan then cook for 5 minutes or until chicken is light browned.
  6. Turn chicken over and place pan in the oven then bake it at 450° for 10 minutes until chicken is done. 
  7. Remove the chicken from pan and then return the pan to normal heat.
  8. Add remaining 2 teaspoons of oil and potatoes, cut sides down, mushrooms, and then 1 tablespoon thyme then cook it 3 minutes until browned.
  9. Add Combine milk and flour in small bowl stirring it with a whisk and add remaining salt, remaining pepper, flour mixture, and stock, lemon, and then beans to the pan. Simmer it for 1 minute until slightly thickened.
  10. Add chicken, cover, and reduce heat, and then simmer it for 3 minutes until beans are crisp. 
  11. Sprinkle it with parsley.
